"My golden girl Olina 💖💖💖 What a voice! I hope she wins the whole damn thing!!!" Ricki-Lee began.
"When they told me I’d get a Golden Buzzer I was so excited...and when I heard Olina sing I instantly knew that I had to give it to her!"
Recoutning her own experience as a teenager auditoning on a realoty TV show, Rickie-Lee gushed over Olina's nerves of steel: "When I was 18 I auditioned for Australian Idol and I was terrified...so I know how nervous she was...but she went out there on that stage and absolutely SMASHED it! I’m so proud of her...she is an absolute STAR!"
Right before her audition, Olina revealed how her mum left her and her family when she was nine-years-old.
"My mum left when I was around nine, and that was a hard time. There are no answers. She just left.
"It was financially tough for my dad. We moved in with my aunty."
"Winning AGT would change my family's life. It would help my dad a lot. It would give me a good opportunity to give back to my family," Olina explains.
While all the judges looked visibly moved - and the crowd gave Olina a standing ovation - it was Ricki-Lee running out on stage that showed the true impact of the teenager's honest performance.
"You're so amazing, you remind me of me when I was 18 I did this I auditioned," Ricki tells her when she joins the 15-year-old on the stage.
"I stood on a stage like this but it was nothing like what you just did and I just..." Ricki says, before running over to hit the Golden Buzzer for Olina.
We will definitely be seeing more of Olina Loau!
