It has been claimed that The Bachelor’s Emma Roche demanded that the show be re-edited after she first debuted on screens looking like a “stage five clinger”.
The Daily Mail Australia alleges that Emma, who was booted from the show by Matt Agnew on Thursday evening, took to Instagram days after the show premiered in July to slam producers for her portrayal.

They say the Irish star “demanded the series be quickly re-edited” because she was so upset that she looked like Cass from last year’s series with Nick “the Honey Badger” Cummins.
“She felt completely cheated and stitched up with how she’s been made to look in the edit and pleaded with them to change future episodes,” a source said.
“But when she asked this weeks ago, she was obviously told it was not at all possible as the whole series had been signed off on.
‘It was suggested she could return to Ireland for a while until everything blew over, and bosses were happy to pay for her flights,” the insider alleged.
While Emma was overly keen about Matt during the home visit, Matt wasn’t on the same page.
Emma professes to him: “I’m feeling very giddy. I’m here to find love. And I’ve found it. Oh, my God. Yeah. I’m just… I’m definitely feeling the feels. I, yeah, definitely am falling in love with you.”
But Matt said: “It’s hard. Emma’s feelings have … moved forward so rapidly, and so far ahead of my own. I mean…yeah, there is a chance I could fall in love with Emma. But there’s also a good chance that I might not, in the time we have left.”
After she was sent packing, Emma took to Instagram to say: “I love love! Lol! But seriously, what a ride! This journey has been a very emotional one for me. I want to thank all of you who have sent such lovely and positive comments. You have no idea how much it’s meant to me and has helped me throughout this journey. At the end of the day I went on this show for genuine reasons and to find….wait for it….love!
“I did find love and that was with the beautiful women I met on The Bachelor. My fellow bachelorettes, you have been there for me throughout the highs, the lows, the tears, the laughs and everything else in between! Here’s to the next chapter!”
