When Home and Away star Sam Frost and former Survivor contestant Jordie Hansen went public with their relationship in March 2022, fans were shocked by the unexpected pairing.
But through public declarations of love, nonstop laughs, and a mutual appreciation for the great outdoors, Sam and Jordie have proved they’re a match made in heaven – and are now set to tie the knot!

Sam first hinted she had a special man in her life during a March 27 interview with Stellar, saying she’s “casually seeing someone”.
Two days later, Sam admitted to radio duo Fitzy and Wippa that she had struck up a romance with Jordie – who just happened to be her little brother Alex’s friend and Survivor co-star.

“When I bailed my brother up and I was like ‘oi is he single or what?’ and then he was like ‘ah don’t be weird.’ He’s like ‘you’re so embarrassing!'” Sam revealed, adding, “He’s younger. I’m a little cougar you know.”

In mid-May, Sam and Jordie enjoyed a romantic couple’s getaway to South Australia’s Flinders Ranges.
Couples who brush their teeth together, stay together! Sam shared this sweet snap of her and Jordie wearing matching shirts on Easter.
“A shining light in a world full of torch snuffers. So proud of you 🖤” Jordie captioned this photo taken at the launch of Sam’s autobiography Believe.
They’re a seriously good looking couple!
“So incredibly grateful for you. Thank you for everything you do for our little family. We love you so much,” Sam captioned this photo, referring to her and Jordie’s adorable puppies!
In late May, Sam publicly wished Jordie a happy 27th birthday. The 33-year-old has previously spoken of their age gap, joking: “I’m a little cougar you know.”

In April, Jordie proudly shared this photo of Sam, writing: “Are you kidding? STOP IT… This is a win for the Everyman. They said it wasn’t possible. You’re a dreamer. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t. Shoot for the stars kids 🤣”
Just three months after going public with their relationship, Sam and Jordie announced their engagement in early July!
Sam revealed that Jordie proposed to her at the end of May during a whirlwind road trip to Uluru.
“It is a very important time of our lives, we recently got engaged, and to celebrate we thought we would go on a 14-day road trip,” Sam said on her podcast Believe.
Jordie shared all the romantic details of his outback proposal to Sam, saying, “We were at Uluru, we’d just woken up, having brekky, we were about to head back down south. Sambo had just been delivered her coffee and so I said to her ‘When would you say yes to getting married?'”
Sam responded: “I said ‘pretty much anytime from now'”.
“And so I took that as, I’m going to do that this afternoon,” Jordie shared.
On September 12, Sam and Jordie took to Instagram to announce they are expecting their first child together!
“There is a tiny human coming soon…everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parent’s odd sense of humour,” Sam began her caption.
“We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share… the importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower.”
“Thank you to all our beautiful friends and family who have supported us during this time, you’re all excellent secret keepers.”
The pair closed the caption, “We are extremely excited and grateful for our tiny miracle.. your mum & dad love you so much already xxxx”
“It’s amazing how much can change in a year. I grew a boyfriend and a baby,” wrote Sam in this celebratory Christmas post shared to her Instagram account.
