They stirred the pot on the premiere of My Kitchen Rules on Monday night with their self proclaimed ‘word vomit’ and Christian homeschoolers Josh and Austin reveal their secret advantage to New Idea.
“I think the thing is that me and Austin were both home schooled and were the only two pupils at our school so we’re used to being with each other all the time and it just worked out for us,” says Josh.
“In fact, it actually worked out for us so much more than other contestants because, one, we’re related and, two, we spend so much of our lives together,” he adds.
“We just watched everybody else on the show have moments where they just cracked as a team because they’re not used to being around each other.”
Both Josh and Austin have left their fellow contestants reeling with their no holds barred comments.
“I sometimes feel guilty for making people so upset. But then I realise that it’s their problem they are so emotionally fragile,” said Josh on Monday night.
