The Married At First Sight promos just keep getting better and better.
In the above video, viewers are introduced to Sydney talent agent Melissa.
The 38-year-old describes herself as “bat shit crazy” and by the looks of it, her wedding day is set to be one bumpy ride.
According to her official bio, Melissa is “desperate to find a man so she can give up the exhausting hunt for a husband” and she hasn’t had sex in eight years!
Keen to have children as soon as possible, some Perth fans may recognise Melissa as she was born and raised in WA, going on to appear on radio and Channel Nine.
The quirky contestant admits she’s a fan of Botox and fillers, with her bio stating that she is “allergic to getting old and deeply insecure about her looks, doing everything she can to look as young and as good as possible.”
She says, “I know I’m not the kind of girl who stops traffic unless I throw myself in front of it.”
According to Melissa, dating is difficult and confronting, because men can find
her insecurities and quirky sense of humour off-putting, so she has all but given up on meeting Mr Right.
She was deeply hurt by her previous partner and vowed not to have sex again until she found “the one”.
That was eight years ago, so it has been a long time between drinks and there is a lot riding on this new union.
