KC had been paired with Drew Brauer on the show, and the couple had called it quits weeks after their final vows.
Meanwhile Michael and his MAFS’ wife Stacey Hampton’s relationship hit the rocks for a second time when she was accused of cheating with Mikey at the final dinner party reunion.
Speaking to Shelly Horton on Talking Married, Lizzie slammed the idea of KC and Michael’s relationship.
“If KC and Michael are together, I will be very disappointed in each of them, because KC was very friendly with Stacey when filming, and Stacey confided in KC a lot,” Lizzie revealed.
“I would also say that I would think that would be more of a revenge thing from Michael to get back at Stacey, and I do not agree with the fact that he cheated and Stacey stuck by him, and he was a better person for that — he was absolutely amazing to be around to be in that period of time,” said Lizzie, before elaborating on how Michael and Stacey’s cheating scandals were different.
“If Stacey did cheat — if she did cheat, she was not close with Michael at that point. There was a little bit of separation there and Mikey wasn’t with Natasha, so different circumstances, and the fact that Michael is ready to throw in the towel like that when Stacey was confiding in KC at that moment. Not cool.
“So hopefully they’re not together,” she concluded.
The details come after it became apparent on Sunday’s finale that Lizzie and her ‘husband’ Seb Guilhaus are the only couple to have stayed together from the latest season of the show.
Gushing to the experts, Lizzie sad of her ‘husband’ “He’s just everything right now. I’m definitely falling in love – the experiment worked and I don’t want to lose him.
“So we’re going to be moving in together and continue building our relationship as there’s so much more there. I’ve come this far and don’t want to lose that.”
When the experts asked Lizzie how she felt about coming back for a second time, she said, “At the end of the day it’s all worth it. I had the worst possible scenario when I was in the experiment prior… but I got the best possible person, ever!”
“You hit the jackpot,” said John.
“I really did. I didn’t think it was possible,” replied Lizze.
But John, never one to miss a trick, noticed that Seb had become emotional. “You’re tearing up over there, Sebastian. What’s going on?”
“Look, before I celebrate this and where we’re at, because it’s amazing, can I just address everyone here, please?” Seb asked.
“Because I’ve sat there and been overwhelmed by emotion. I’ve listened to a lot of hardship and what you’ve all gone through, but you’re all beautiful, talented people individually and in your own right. And even though you haven’t had the compatibility in this experiment, we fell into something fantastic, but individually you’re gonna find someone and you’re going to succeed… you’re all brilliant and I can’t just sit up here on a pedestal.”
He was applauded by the group, who seemed like they couldn’t be happier for him and Lizzie.
“It’s amazing and as good as I’ve ever felt in my life, ever,” Seb told the experts. “We’re gonna make the move and make this thing real and give it a go.”
Then, after the couple watched their highlights reel of their time on the show, John asked them, “So, did you get your happily ever after?”
Lizzie, weeping quietly said, “I can’t even speak.”
“Lizzie, how do you feel about Seb right now?” asked Trish.
“ He’s just, everything right now,” replied Lizzie.
“Have you fallen in love?” asked Trish.
“I’m definitely, definitely, definitely getting there,” said a clearly besotted Lizzie. “It worked, the experiment worked and I don’t want to lose him, so just being together, moving in together and keep building that relationship because there’s more there and I don’t wanna lose that.”
