Lauren, who found fame on the UK reality series The Only Way is Essex, said that despite “no pregnancy or labour complications” the newborn had passed away – though she didn’t reveal the cause of death.
“She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth to for my angel to be taken from me,” the grieving mother wrote alongside a black and white photo of her late daughter’s tiny hand.
“I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it,” Lauren continued, adding, “She is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar… I am broken 💔 I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet.”
The star went on to ask photographers for privacy as they made arrangements for the baby’s funeral.
“I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live every day with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My 👼 Lorena I love you so much,” she concluded.
The raw post sparked a slew of messages from fans and fellow TOWIE cast members, including Danielle Armstrong and Amy Childs.
Danielle wrote: “Oh darling heartbroken for you sending you strength and love and hope your get the respect and privacy you need to grieve xxxx.”
Amy added: “Sending you love Lauren xxxx.”
Lauren also shares daughter Larose, who was born in January 2021, with partner Charles Drury.
It comes as yet another blow in recent days for Lauren, after her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean was killed in a car crash in Turkey that left his current girlfriend and TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou with severe injuries last week.
Following the shock news of Jake’s death, Lauren wrote on Instagram, “R.I.P Jake, I have no words right now.. my thoughts are with your family and friends.”
