They stunned reality TV fans with their bold style choices – and their $250,000 win on House Rules last night, and now couple Pete and Courtney have revealed the real truth behind their victory.

The couple confess that their out-there choices in wallpaper, and some very divisive style features in the last challenge, were a make or break move that could have either ruined them or swept them to victory.
‘You just have to back yourself,’ Pete told The Morning Show, in the afterglow of last night’s sensational outcome.
‘We knew we had to make bold decisions and just take some risks because it was win or not.’
The couple’s biggest risk, a floating wine rack-cum-room divider, proved a major talking point.
‘We were running out of money and needed to be creative and that what we came up with,’ admitted Pete of the feature, which divided fans on social media, but won over the judges.
So what will the couple do with their winnings?
‘I feel so silly, because we have no idea,’ confessed Courtney. ‘You’d think we’d know how to answer that, but for us, we just went into it to do our best.’
