These days they’re proud parents to two young boys, but it’s a medical miracle Mel made it through the pregnancies.

‘We initially struggled to have our first one,’ Mel, 32, explains.
‘And I fell naturally with our second one, but then the difficulties started.

‘My son and I had a bloods mix, positive and negative. If I have another child, it will attack the baby.
We had to get him out three and a half weeks early.
‘Basically, my body thinks there is an invader so it tries to get rid of the baby.’
Fortunately, Westin, five, and Billy, three, are now both happy and healthy little boys!
