Princess Beatrice is the beloved granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, and following her exciting engagement to Italian property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the official account of Her Majesty and Prince Philip (@TheRoyalFamily) shared a sweet congratulatory photo, which made it clear Elizabeth couldn't contain her excitement.
However, if the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson decides to get married in Edo's home country of Italy, it would most likely mean the monarch wouldn't attend the wedding.
The couple - who met at the nuptials of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank back in October 2018 - got engaged during their trip to the up-market Italian coastal town, Positano.

Considering most of Edo's family are Italian, the Royal couple may choose to hold their nuptials in Europe instead of traditional England.
However, if Beatrice was to do this, the 93-year-old Queen would not be willing to travel via aeroplane.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward tells OK magazine that while Beatrice would want to marry in Italy, she will most likely choose a location that will accommodate the Queen.
"I think in her heart Beatrice would like to be married in Italy where Edo’s from, but there’s no way the Queen will fly to Europe for the wedding so it will have to be in England.”
While everyone was delighted at the news, it has been revealed that Princess Eugenie nearly ruined the moment, accidentally revealing the engagement on her Instagram one week before the official statement was released.
Despite the faux pas, Eugenie still took to social media last week to share her excitement over the happy news, writing: "Beabea - wow! I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be."
Fergie - mother to Eugenie and Beatrice - also shared her own tribute to daughter Beatrice and her new fiance.
"I know what a mother feels so I have tears of joy. I am so proud of this sensational news. Andrew and I are just the luckiest people ever to have two great sons in law."
