HILARIOUS PICS: Queen Margrethe of Denmark as you've never seen her before
Princess Mary’s mum-in-law, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has become a familiar face for Aussie royal fans, but we bet you’ve never seen her like this!

Looking comically like a scene from a Godzilla or King Kong movie – perhaps Attack of The 50ft Royals – the fun-loving Queen towered above an intricately detailed miniature Danish village, as she visited Kjøge Mini Town.
A stop off on her annual summer cruise on board the Royal Yacht Dannebrog, the Queen was all smiles as she took in the fun attraction.
‘Margrethe seemed to be having the time of her life,’ said an onlooker. ‘She never stopped smiling the whole time.’
Maybe she’s been mulling over how well her son, Prince Frederik has turned out, after a bumpy start as a care-free playboy.
"There is some suggestion that his parents ensured his younger brother [Joachim] got married first because they weren’t sure if he was ever going to get married,” royal commentator Angela Mollard reveals on the podcast, New Idea Royals.
“Yet Mary has been sort of the backbone of this new family.”
