Meanwhile, the mother of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is said to be heartbroken that she is missing the birthdays of her grandchildren this year because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Kate is self-isolating with her husband Prince William, and their children, Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, 23-months at their country estate in Norfolk, Anmar Hall.
Come April 23, when Louis turns two, and May 2, when Charlotte turns five, the famous family will be far from their many loved ones on such special occasions - especially their very hands-on grandparents.
Like so many people around the world celebrating milestones in lockdown, the family are heartbroken.
Kate’s father Michael is 70 which means he is in the vulnerable age bracket for coronavirus COVID-19 and is cocooning, while Carole, founder of party supplies business Party Pieces which specialises in children’s birthday parties, can't be on-hand either.
Kate recently opened up about how her family functions away from the public glare, on Giovanna Fletcher’s parenting podcast.
Kate said: "As children, we spent a lot of time outside and it’s something I’m really passionate about.
"I think it’s so great for physical and mental wellbeing and laying those foundations," she explained.
Thankfully, Anmar Hall boasts beautiful, lush grounds in the countryside with gardens and forests to explore during this isolating time.
And the Cambridges are taking their time away very seriously, after William's own father, Prince Charles was diagnosed with COVID-19 last month. He is now out of quarantine, and fit and well.
