Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl revealed that Her Majesty, 93, once joked that she wouldn’t be around to see the Duke of Sussex have children.
She wrote in Vanity Fair: “Not so long ago she joked that she probably wouldn’t be around to see Harry have children, but here she is at the age of 93, welcoming another baby.”
It has been revealed that Archie - born May 6 - will be privately christened at the Queen’s chapel at Windsor Castle.
It will be an intimate affair of just 25 people, with Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, and Camilla, all set to attend.
Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland is set to fly over from California.
The Duchess of Sussex’s best friend Jessica Mulroney is believed to be Archie’s godmother.
The Queen will miss the grand occasion because of prior commitments.
