Princess Mary and her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, are heading to Australia this October to attend the Invictus Games, as reported by the Daily Telegraph. The royal couple will be joining Prince Harry and Meghan from October 20 to October 27 for the event which will be held in multiple venues across Sydney.
Mary is quite familiar with Australia, being born in Tasmania, and regularly returns home. Most recently, the 46-year-old was spotted at Palm Beach in December on holiday with her family, including children Princess Isabella, Prince Christian, and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, before flying to her hometown for Christmas.
Mary and Frederik are likely to attend several of the Invictus Games events alongside Prince Harry and Meghan.
More details on the exact events the royals will be attending will be announced closer to the start of the Games, but until then, the information is being kept tightly under wraps.
No stranger to being married into royalty, Meghan will have a lot to share with Mary who met her husband during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Whereas, Meghan was famously set up with Harry on a blind date which was organised by a close friend of the actress.
