While his mother, Kate Middleton wasn't able to make an appearance on his first day of school - due to experiencing morning sickness with Prince Louis - she accompanied both children to Thomas's Battersea yesterday.
The Duchess of Cambridge could be heard asking the Head of the Lower School at Thomas's Battersea, Helen Haslem (who was there for George on his first day) ''How are you? Did you have a nice summer?''
As Ms Haslem walked the family to the doors of the school, Prince William could be heard saying that Princess Charlotte was "very excited."
Charlotte previously Willcocks Nursery school before the Palace announced that she would be joining her older brother Prince George at Thomas's Battersea earlier this year.
At their school, the children will be known as George and Charlotte Cambridge due to William and Kate's titles as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
