“The other nickname that she had when she was at Willcocks Nursery, which was up until just before the summer, was Warrior Princess."
Ms Nicholl continued: “I’m wondering if that might be a nickname that will stick with her. Apparently she earned that nickname because obviously she is a Princess, but she’s quite a tomboy.
“She loves climbing trees and she’s very much an adventurer, she was quite known for her feisty personality.”
As Princess Charlotte arrived for her first day of school last week, fans couldn't help but notice the remarkable resemblance the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shares with her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Flooding the official Instagram account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - @kensingtonroyal - were fans remarking that Charlotte was the Her Majesty's 'mini-me'.
"Charlotte is the spitting image of the Queen!" one fan wrote.
While another social media user commented: "Princess Charlotte I have a feeling she's going to rule her brothers. Takes after her amazing gran!"
The side-by-side images of a young (then Princess) Elizabeth against a four-year-old Princess Charlotte show that the Windsor genes remain strong.
We can't wait to hear how Charlotte is getting on in her first term of school!
