She attended the occasion with her aunt, Princess Anne, her uncle, Prince Andrew and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
Photos of the afternoon, which were posted to the official Royal Family Instagram account, showed Beatrice beaming in a pastel blue dress as she stopped to chat to people at the event.
The awards celebrate the work of young people, and were launched in the United Kingdom in 1956 by Prince Philip.
Beatrice often attends events for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and was elected to the board as a trustee earlier in the year.
The princess has been causing a stir recently with rumours she’s planning to marry her property developer boyfriend “within months”.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Beatrice have been dating since last October, however he wasn’t in attendance at the Buckingham Palace event.
