Princess Beatrice and Edoardo engaged after holiday in Capri
Princess Beatrice has announced her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The 31-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, got engaged to the 34-year-old property tycoon in Italy earlier this month.
Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, congratulated her sibling in a social media post.
"It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be," Princess Eugenie said in an Instagram post congratulating the pair.
According to Express, the 31-year-old and Italian property tycoon were spotted on a yacht around Naples in Italy - the perfect backdrop for a proposal.
The couple went public with their relationship six months ago, and royal fans believe they will soon follow in the footsteps of Beatrice's younger sister Princess Eugenie and her cousin Prince Harry, who both married their respective spouses at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

A source told The Sun that the pair are said to now be living together, with Edo thought to have moved into Bea's apartment in St James's Palace earlier this year.
But the smitten pair are unable to make things official, with the announcement of their own big day stalled.
According to a royal expert, the delay is being caused by the Queen Elizabeth II's hectic schedule.
Beatrice’s wedding date will depend on when her grandmother the Queen is free to attend, royal commentator and editor in chief of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward told Hello!
“They have to find a gap in her diary before they name the day," she explained to the publication.
