According to People, Prince William, 37, was chatting to a local at an organised event in Blackpool when the topic turned to daughters and their hair style requests.
The local resident, who belongs to the group Dads 4 Life got a laugh from Prince William and wife Kate Middleton when he spoke of the challenges of styling his little girl’s hair, adding that he finally learned after watching YouTube tutorials.
"Never try to do a ponytail!" the Prince said in response before adding this one word.
“Nightmare.”
Clearly the Prince is not overly thrilled with Princess Charlotte's hair style demands. And perhaps neither is her mum the Duchess of Cambridge.
"Have you tried to do a plait?," she asked the man. "It's the weaving ... really hard."
Prince William got the biggest laughs when he added the following:
William said, "I can do (3-year-old Princess Charlotte’s) ponytail, but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practice on!"
The fact that he attempts to do his little girl's hair at all warms our hearts completely.
And while Prince William might not be the greatest stylist (and we reckon he isn't if he struggles with a simple ponytail), Princess Charlotte likely thinks he is the most incredible stylist of all time - and quite likely the sweetest dad too.
