After visiting one of Wellington’s most iconic cafes earlier in the day, the royal couple were set to walk off their breakfasts with a trail walk.
Harry and Meghan are nearing the end of their epic 16-day tour Down Under.
Their visit – timed to co-incide with the Invictus Games held in Sydney – has seen them explore Australia, Fiji, Tonga and now New Zealand.
Pregnant Meghan remained in her favoured Outland black jeans for her helicopter ride.
It was unclear whether the pregnant duchess would take part in the trail walk or not but she changed from black heeled boots into flat white pumps for the occasion.
The royal couple were due to be greeted at the national park with a traditional welcome ceremony.
