Prince Harry has been left devastated after a close friend of his was horrifically gored by a rhino as the pair worked on a project in Africa,
The royal’s mate, game ranger Lawrence Munro, was severely injured after being attacked by an angry female in Malawi’s Liwonde national park.
His wounds were so extensive they stretched from his foot to his hip. He was evacuated by chopper to South Africa.
Harry was not there at the time – the duo having parted ways just days before, after camping together on the Shire river. It is understood news of the attack has left the royal shocked and upset.
The duo have worked extensively on conservation projects in the past.
