Hundreds of people are waiting in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens for the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Children are holding signs reading “worth the detention” and “Fresh Prince with red hair”, while others have Australian flags ready to wave.
Meghan has chosen to wear a navy blue dress by Australian brand Dion Lee for the third day of her and Harry’s 16-day tour.
She is also wearing a camel-coloured trench coat by Martin Grant and black stilettos.
Harry and Meghan were given a rapturous reception as they arrived in Melbourne.
Crowds screamed for the duke and duchess as they greeted well-wishers and were handed toys and flowers.
Members of the crowd also started singing Stand By Me, which was performed at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May.
The couple will then visit the social enterprise which offers training programmes for young Aboriginal people.
In the afternoon they will visit a local primary school before traveling on an iconic Melbourne tram to South Melbourne beach to meet volunteers from a local beach program.
MORE TO COME.
