Every royal must take a black outfit in their luggage in case a family member dies and they have to enter a period of mourning.
According toMarie Claire UK, the Queen and her son travel with a pack of their own blood, looked after by a navy doctor who is always close by.
It makes sense, as it means they'll always have enough blood should something occur which means they need an urgent blood transfusion.
According to The Sun, there are other travel essentials that the Queen takes with her on every journey, including pine-scented soaps, framed family photos, Harrods' sausages, gin, barley sugar and even a monogrammed kettle.
And HRH also reportedly takes her own toilet roll which only she is allowed to break the seal on. How luxurious!
🏛 Each year in the summer months, the doors of Buckingham Palace are opened to visitors and a special exhibition is put on in the State Rooms. This year's exhibition explores how Queen Victoria transformed Buckingham Palace into the busy Royal residence it is today. 'Queen Victoria's Palace' mark's the 200th anniversary of Victoria's birth. Today The Queen - Victoria's great-great-granddaughter - had a private preview of the exhibition. A highlight of 'Queen Victoria's Palace' is the recreation of a magnificent ball which was held in 1856 to mark the end of the Crimean War and honour the returning soldiers. The recreation uses a Victorian illusion technique known as Pepper's Ghost. For more see: @royalcollectiontrust
