William was three years old when he vanished without a trace from the garden at his grandmother's house on the New South Wales' north coast on September 12.
The photos show William, who was on the shoulders on a male foster carer, entering the restaurant with another female foster carer and his sister.
The never-before-seen images have been released along with a redacted police timeline of events that occurred during the group’s travels to Kendall to see William’s foster mum.
According to the timeline, the group ordered their meals at 6.25pm, before leaving the restaurant at 6.40pm.
The group later arrived at Kendall, which is about two-and-a-half hours away on the mid-north coast of NSW, about 9pm, The Australian reported.
William went missing about 10.30am the following day, while he was playing in the garden of his foster mum’s house at 48 Benaroon Drive.
In September 2016, two years to the day of his disappearance, the NSW government offered a record-breaking reward of $1 million dollars for William's recovery.
The NSW Coroner's Court will resume the inquest next March.
