Expert explains why pregnant Meghan Markle is turning to acupuncture
Meghan Markle is reportedly having acupuncture during her pregnancy to boost the flow of blood to the uterus.
According to Vanity Fair, the Duchess of Sussex is with London-based acupuncturist-to-the-stars Ross Barr to prepare for her baby due in late April.

According to expert Waveny Holland, president of Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, Meghan - a long-time believer in acupuncture - would be using the ancient Chinese medicine to cure common ailments during pregnancy.
Holland tells New Idea: "It has been well reported that Meghan is a long-time believer in acupuncture having used it to help with debilitating migraines she was suffering.
"She has been quoted as saying that acupuncture changed her life enabling her to be migraine free so it would be a natural choice for her to use acupuncture to holistically maintain her body during such an important time in her life, keeping her healthy throughout her whole pregnancy."
Holland explains why acupuncture is an effective healing method for pregnant women: "Regular acupuncture treatments during pregnancy to maintain health and wellness, improving blood flow, energy levels and helping with sleep reduces the stresses on the body."
According to Vanity Fair, a source close the Barr has revealed the former Suits actress has been regularly visiting the practice during her pregnancy: "Meghan has been having regular acupuncture sessions to help her unwind and relax."
Meghan Marke and Prince Harry will welcome their first child together in April.
