Roxy Jacenko has had a difficult few months following her husband's conviction for insider trading and her own breast cancer diagnosis, however it’s been business as usual for the mother-of-two on social media.
The Celebrity Apprentice star has been keeping fans up-to-date with her lavish life, however one selfie over the weekend didn’t go down quite so well.
Roxy, 36, posted a photo on Instagram of herself with five-year-old daughter Pixie sitting in the front seat of her Aston Martin Vantage – and not in the back in a regulation car seat.
The NSW Centre for Road Safety states that “children aged from four years old but under seven years old must be secured in a forward facing approved child restraint with an inbuilt harness or an approved booster seat.”
“Children aged from four years old but under seven years old cannot travel in the front seat of a vehicle with two or more rows, unless all other back seats are occupied by children younger than seven years in an approved child restraint or booster seat.”
According to the Daily Telegraph, after a number of complaints, police were called to Roxy’s home in North Bondi to discuss the alleged incident.
Two patrol cars were reportedly seen at the residence and police confirmed a complaint was followed up, but provided no further information.
“About 8pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016, police attended a unit block on Ramsgate Ave, North Bondi,” a police spokesman told the Daily Telegraph. “No one was home … however officers have spoken to all relevant parties and no further police action is required.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and it does not relate to any ongoing investigation.”
Roxy later deleted the offending photograph and uploaded another one showing Pixie, and two-year-old son Hunter, sitting in the back of her car, secured safely in their car seats.
