She gave birth to her miracle second child just 10 weeks ago, but it seems singer Pink could now be pregnant with baby number three!
Pregnancy rumours are swirling for the adored star and husband Carey Hart, with Pink telling friends that she ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ if she was expecting again.
The 37-year-old gave birth to Jameson Moon on December 26 and has made no secret of her desire for a large family, revealing: ‘We want a basketball team!’ But it appears her wish may have come true sooner than anyone thought possible.
‘As soon as Pink had Jameson, she was already talking about having another one,’ says a close friend of the star.
‘It took her a long time to have another baby after their daughter Willow was born in 2011, so she was keen to get cracking as soon as possible after Jameson was born.
‘Once she got the all-clear from her doctors, she and Carey started getting busy! Now she’s telling people she wouldn’t be surprised if she’s already pregnant – that’s how hard they’ve been trying.’
Although Pink and Carey, 41, have suffered their fair share of relationship troubles – even splitting up between 2008 and 2010 – their pregnancy buzz has come after pals revealed the pair are ‘stronger than ever’.
‘They’ve been going from strength to strength since Jameson was born,’ says the friend. ‘Having a new baby has reminded them of what’s important in life – family – and they’ve never been more in love. It’s amazing to see.’
While Pink’s decision to have another baby may seem fast to some, her friends say they’re not surprised by her urgency to fall pregnant again.
‘She might have sold millions of records around the world, but Pink always says her greatest achievement is becoming a mum,’ a friend tells New Idea. ‘She loves her babies, but also knows her biological clock is ticking.
‘She and Carey struggled for so long to have baby number two – doctors are telling her that if she wants more, she needs to act fast.’
Pink has been open about her desire to have ‘lots and lots and lots’ of kids.
‘I’d love to have more kids,’ she told the Daily Mail. ‘I’d like a big, dysfunctional basketball team full of them!’
More recently, she’s revealed she would love to have at least five children, admitting that she wants Willow, five, to grow up surrounded by siblings.
‘My brother is everything to me. So I want her to have family beyond her papa and me,’ she admitted. ‘For that reason, I mostly want another one for her to have a lifelong friend. I want to adopt, I want to have more – just, yes.’
