Having announced that she will hit our shores next July and August for her Beautiful Trauma tour, insiders tell New Idea the pop star is planning on staying Down Under on a more permanent basis once the tour is done.
Describing Australia as a 'nice warm hug' and the one 'place in the world that I don't have to fight as hard for who I am,' insiders reveal the singer and her husband Carey Hart see the country as their happy place.
'When Pink came to Australia in 2012 with Carey and Willow, they just had the most relaxing time' says a friend of the star. 'She and Carey didn't fight at all and he thought that being out of the hustle and bustle of Hollywood tucked away at the bottom of the world, had a really calming effect on their marriage.'
Already eyeing off homes in Sydney's exclusive suburb of Newport - including the $10k-a-week five-bedroom mansion Bungan House - Pink is also believed to have her sights set on the exclusive Shore Preparatory School for her daughter, Willow, six.
'Pink only wants the best for Willow,' says a source. 'But she loves the idea of sending her to a school away from the LA and celebrity scene.'
Pink may joke that her success in Australia is 'the longest running fluke', but there is no doubt her fans would welcome her with open arms.
