Shocking footage has emerged of One Nation leader Pauline Hanson suggesting the Port Arthur shooting was a conspiracy orchestrated by the Australian government.
The Queensland senator was secretly filmed in late 2018 by Al Jazeera journalist Rodger Muller as part of an undercover investigation for the sensational new documentary, How to Sell a Massacre.
Ms Hanson - who was covertly taped over a steak and wine dinner - makes remarks which imply the 1996 Tasmania massacre was a staged plot designed to change gun laws in Australia.

Addressing Mr Muller - who masqueraded as a representative for fake firearms advocate group 'Gun Rights Australia' for three years, according to News.com.au - the politician asks: "An MP said, 'it would actually take a massacre in Tasmania to change gun laws in Australia' - haven't you heard that?
"Have a look at it. It was said on the floor of Parliament."
The controversial leader also remarks she has "a lot of questions" about Port Arthur.
In a separate piece of hidden camera footage Ms Hanson is seen in conversation with her chief of staff James Ashby.
Both express doubt about the legitimacy of the September 11 attacks in New York City.

The Port Arthur massacre took place from April 28 through April 29 1996 and left 35 people dead after a gunman went on a rampage at the historic site.
The event is regarded as one of the worst shooting incidents in Australian history and prompted radical changes in gun control legislation across the country, implemented by John Howard's government in the wake of the attack.
Prior to the massacre, a national redesign of firearm laws had been rejected by Tasmania.
In a press conference today Prime Minister Scott Morrison slammed One Nation and called on voters to support the Coalition in favour of minor political groupings, branding them "not parties of government...parties of grievance".
