Ayla Cresswell was given permission by a Supreme Court judge to use her boyfriend Joshua Davies sperm after his sudden death in August.

Just hours after Joshua’s death, Ayla rushed to court to ensure the sperm would be viable.

She said the couple planned to have three children and that having kids was a very important “element” of his life that he wanted to fulfil.

She was supported in her decision by Josh’s father John.

While the court hearing gave permission for the sperm to be stored at an IVF facility a court will still need to grant permission for the sperm to be used to conceive a child.
