She was the single mum that stole Bachelor Richie Strahan’s heart this year and since then Alex Nation has come under fire for her parenting style.
Silencing the haters, Alex posted a gorgeous snap to social media of her and her 5-year-old son, Elijah.
The heart-warming picture features mother and son, in bed together with the caption, ‘When I look at you I see my whole world.’
Alex has come under fire since the show wrapped for not spending enough time with her son, while she fulfilled promotional duties with Richie. During this time, Elijah was staying with Alex’s ex-husband, Joel Porter and his girlfriend Ashy Smith.
But it seems it’s not just fans of the show that had an issue with this, even those close to Alex weren’t happy.
Just days before the show’s finale, Ashy posted a cryptic Instagram photo which said, ‘Too bad you are only a good mother on Facebook and the rest of the time you neglect your child,’ with the caption, ‘This speaks volumes!’
Despite dating for months, Richie is still yet to meet Alex’s son, which has left many confused.
