Amid news of The Block’s Dan and Carleen Foley living separate lives, the couple’s three sons have revealed they have serious concerns about Dan’s health.
Dan, who is the oldest contestant to ever join the long-running reality series, went into the competition with existing health conditions.
According to his eldest son Jacob, Dan has chronic arthritis in his wrists.
‘I knew it was going to be pretty taxing on him,’ Jacob has said.
He added, ‘We were a bit worried about his physical state and how that would affect him.’
Jacob also revealed that his father lost ‘quite a bit of weight’ during filming on the show.
The comments come after it was revealed that Dan and Carleen are living separately – Carleen remains in Perth while Dan lives down the coast.
