Seven Year Switch’s Cassie has shared two taken pictures of herself side-by-side on Instagram, in the hopes of inspiring other mum to not be so hard on themselves.
The before and after picture shows Cassie at 12 weeks pregnant verse 12 weeks postpartum. ‘Excuse the pics,’ she wrote, ‘don’t stress it’s only skin and we all have it.’
The reality star says compared the pictures side-by-side as they keep her ‘honest and has me returning to the gym!’
She adds: ’I would absolutely love to have my 12 week pregnancy body back in another 9 months time. But given this is now my 4th child I am being realistic when I say that I will probably never ever look like that again,’ she captioned the image.
The reality star says she is currently training three times a week but as she is still breastfeeding her daughter Mena, she doesn’t want to over do it.
Cassie, who has four children, says she isn’t putting any ‘crazy expectations’ on herself.
‘I know as women even though we absolutely love our Mummy roles, we sacrifice so much for these little monkeys and our bodies are the first to go! I’m taking my training one day at a time. I am not putting any crazy expectations on myself, heck I have I have enough stress already! ‘
Sending support to other mums out there, Cassie finished her post with some inspirational words.
‘Don’t ever feel selfish for taking a little time for you… YOU are the captain of your ship.. If you go down your teeny tiny crew and ship will sink too!’
