Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson first shot to TV fame on the kiddie pageant scene when she was just six years old, before winning her own series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
But when the show was axed in disturbing circumstances, amid unsettling revelations about her mother, June’s love life, Honey Boo Boo seemed doomed to obscurity.
But now 11, she’s hanging on to the spotlight – and now rapidly catching up with her mother in height.
After being the subject of a weight loss intervention on US show The Doctors, she recently partied up a storm at a Georgia hip hop event.
