Roxy Jacenko: I’m not a cancer faker

The PR queen hits back at absurd insinuations

PR queen Roxy Jacenko has slammed absurd insinuations that her breast cancer diagnosis had either been faked, or was conveniently timed to coincide with her husband’s imprisonment.

Talking to 60 Minutes reporter Allison Langdon, Roxy became incensed when the interviewer suggested there had been some ‘cynicism’ over her diagnosis among ‘normal’ people following Oliver Curtis’ jailing.

‘Well they’re not normal Alison, change your friends,’ seethed Roxy. ‘You’ve got too much time on your hands if you say that. I don’t really give a f*** what they think on my timing.

‘They can say that, the reality is, it’s not something that I ever thought I would face.’

Roxy, who is shown preparing for rigorous hospital treatment in a preview clip from next week’s 60 Minutes, has confirmed she will be undergoing radiotherapy.
