Police issue warrant for William Tyrrells’ grandmother

She failed to show up in court

The grandmother of missing toddler William Tyrrell has had an arrest warrant issued after she failed to show up in court over an incident with her son.

During an altercation in March Natalie Collins’s son damaged her property with the intent to cause fear and harm, the Daily Mail reports.

 

‘The accused has no regard for his mother,’ bail documents said.

‘His behaviour has been threatening, abusive and intimidating accompanied by an assault.

 

‘The assault shows absolute contempt for his mother by spitting in her face’.

Collins was supposed to appear in court in September, however she was a no show and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

 

Ms Collins told Daily Mail Australia she simply hadn’t seen the letter in the mail.

‘I was at work and didn’t get the letter,’ she said.
