When police officer Precious Cornner-Jones went to a school to help out with a rally she noticed that one child was not enjoying the day.
While police officers went round high-fiving the other children for the “High-Five rally”, Precious realised that one four-year-old boy wasn’t into it.
So she did something far more special.
Noticing the boy was lying on the floor, the police officer got down there with him and started talking to him.
When the little boy started to cry, she wiped his tears.
Writing on her Facebook page, Precious said: ‘As an adult sometimes all we want is one person to stop, get on our level and maybe wipe our tears. These children are entitled to bad days host as us, so give them that moment to bring it together.’
