A mum has shown her love for her daughter by getting a haircut to match the little girl’s surgery scar.
Faith May Beckstead was feeling scared after doctors had to shave some of her hair to remove a brain tumour that was pushing on her optic nerve and destroying her pituitary gland.
‘Every superhero has a side kick who picks them up, dusts them off, and makes them feel stronger than ever,’ says the post on the Love What Matters Facebook page.
‘Faith was feeling a little down when she noticed they had to shave some of her hair to remove her tumour.’
That’s when her mum Jamie Dawn decided to get a matching cut.
Earlier this year dad Josh Marshall got a tattoo to match his eight-year-old son Gabriel’s surgery scar.
