Erika Hurt, 25, was found by police in Indiana, slumped behind the steering wheel with the needle still in her hand.

Police have released the picture – not including the baby – to show how children are the helpless victim of the drug crisis.

‘Parents are doing this more often with children in the car because they are doing it away from someone who is going to disapprove,’ said chief police officer Matthew Tallent.

Erika was revived and arrested on charges of child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.
