Missing Melbourne Mum Karen Ristevski: New Clue?

Fresh evidence

Will newly-uncovered CCTV footage provide a clue to the disappearance of missing Melbourne Mum Karen Ristevski?

According to Melbourne’s Herald Sun, a resident who lives near the Ristevski’s home in Avondale Heights, north-west Melbourne, has given police footage taken from a security camera outside her home.

The resident, who has not been named, believes that the camera filmed a car matching the description of Ristevski’s vehicle on the day she disappeared.

Ristevski was reported missing on June 29 by her husband Borce, who said she left the $1.1 million family home around 10AM for a walk. She was wearing a black blazer, jeans and carried a gold Coach handbag and purse.

Boris, who has been formally interviewed by police as a matter of routine, said his wife left to “clear her head” following a heated argument over money.

The couple are partners in formal-wear business Bella Bleu. They have a 21-year-old daughter, Sarah, who also lives at the home.

Her cousin, Lisa, told WHO Ristevski wouldn’t just walk away.

“Her family is most important to her, especially the love and devotion she has for her daughter Sarah,” she says. “Sarah and her mum are extremely close, they spoke many times per day. They are best friends.
