A man has made a chilling confession for the abduction and death of an 11-year-old Minnesota boy nearly 27 years ago.
Fifty two-year-old Daniel Heinrich, who appeared in court on a child pornography charges, admitted to killing Jacob Wetterling, reports the Associated Press.
Jacob was 11 when he was abducted near his central Minnesota home from a video store with his brother and a friend in 1989.
According to the Star Tribune, Heinrich was reportedly charged with 25 counts of possessing and receiving child pornography, but under his plea deal 25 charges were dismiss and he will not be charged for the murder of Jacob.
Heinrich will face the maximum recommended sentence, which according to the Tribune is 20 years in prison.
