Madonna is welcoming two beautiful 4-year-old girls from Malawi. The singer’s brood is expanding from four to six.
The Guardian reports that the 58-year-old “has been given permission” from the Malawian high court to adopt four-year-old Stella and Esther from Mchinji orphanage.
A judicial spokesman from the African nation, said: “I can confirm that Madonna has been granted an adoption order for two children.”
Madonna has previously adopted two children from Malawi, David Banda in 2006 and Mercy James in 2009 (pictured above). According to reports the girls’ father was present in court yesterday along with the singer –however some commentators are accusing the government of giving the singer a special exception to laws that prevent non-residents from adopting children to take abroad.
