Kelly Clarkson has revealed that after two kids, her and her husband Brandon Blackstock will not be having any more kids.
Ahead of Thanksgiving in America, Kelly revealed what she’s thankful for.
‘I am super thankful I’m never going to be pregnant again,’ the 34-year-old revealed. ‘I have my beautiful children and I’m done!’
After suffering throughout ‘the worst pregnancies’ with daughter River, two, and son Remington, six months, Kelly had her tubes tied and her husband followed suit by getting a vasectomy.
‘I had the worst pregnancies ever. I would end up in the hospital, dehydrated. People had to come to our house and I’d be on fluids,’ Kelly explained. ‘Apparently that’s what it takes to make amazing babies, because they’re both stellar. We’ve made them and it’s done.’
The former American Idol winner is also stepmother to Brandon’s children, Savannah, 14 and Seth, 11, from a previous marriage. Kelly admitted it has been ‘pretty hard’ to juggle her work and her family life.
‘We’re still working on [the balance],’ Kelly explained. ‘It’s hard, being a working mom – I’m not gonna lie – but it’s worth it for not only my little girls, but our boys to see women working and still being able to do that and accomplish being a great mom, which I feel like I’m doing. It’s worth it.’
Kelly also went on to gush about her husband.
‘I have a great teammate with my husband. He will definitely reel me in when I’m like, “It’s all going down, we’re losing it!”’
