One genius mother has shared her simple trick for improving her bub’s sleep, and it works every time.
Laura Gerson, from Essex, has seemingly solved the problem of how to stop your baby crying for their dummy at night – and it’s THAT simple, we’re not sure why nobody thought of it sooner.
Gerson posted to Facebook, ‘Since my little one was about 3 months old she’s gone to bed with roughly 10 dummies in with her.
‘Found that when she cried of a night all she wanted was a dummy then she’d go back off. Realised that if she had one to hand then she would just find it of a night, trial and error with her losing a few down the side but 99% of the time she feels around, finds a dummy, sticks it in and she’s sorted!;
Laura scattered the dummies around in the cot before putting her toddler to bed, and now she can sleep soundly knowing that if her daughter wakes, she can find a dummy on her own and settle herself.
‘Haven’t had to go into her of a night for about 8 months now…WINNING!!’

While many seasoned parents might already know of this hack, Laura stepped it up a notch and added glow in the dark dummies – making the search for her bub a little easier.
Genius!
