Dallas French was having one of those days. She’d taken her baby daughter Ellee to the hospital for some tests and had dropped into a cafe afterwards for some lunch.
But as she was making up a bottle for her little girl the bottle spilled all over the floor and she had to make up another one.
‘She was starving but (the bottle) spilled all over me and then all over the floor so I had to make another bottle,’ she explained on the ‘Love What Matters” Facebook page.
But as Dallas was starting to feel stressed, the waiter came to her rescue.
‘Our waiter watched all that happen and had just brought our salad and bread sticks,’ she recalls.
‘He said: “Let me feed her and you eat”.’
Dallas tells how the waiter then leaned over the booth and fed the baby the fresh bottle while she ate her salad.
‘This melted all of us and this is what we need more of,’ she wrote.
While she did not get the waiter’s name, after posting the details on the Facebook page, a reader phoned the restaurant to enquire.
The reader discovered the waiter was a father of two and sent him a tip, encouraging other readers to do the same.
