A childcare centres has told parents to get off their phones when they collect their children at the end of the day.
Posting a note on their door, the Rose Hill daycare centre in Texas told parents their children deserved their full attention.
The note reads: ‘You are picking up your child. GET OFF YOUR PHONE! Your child is happy to see you! Are you happy to see your child?? We have seen children trying to hand their parents their work they completed and the parent is on the phone.
‘It is appalling. Get off your phone!!’
The note has divided parent with some saying parents have a right to have time to make calls. ‘She could be a single mom trying to make a business deal so she can feed her child,’ said one.
But others agreed: ‘This is SO PERFECT,’ wrote one.
