Two-year-old Lane Graves was killed last week after an alligator dragged him into Seven Seas Lagoon near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska, wrote on its website that there will be a rosary prayer service for the Graves family on Sunday night, a wake on Monday and the funeral mass and burial will be held on Tuesday.

In a statement published on the church’s website, father Matt Graves said they ‘are overwhelmed with the support and love we have received from family and friends in our community as well as from around the country.’

‘We understand the public’s interest, but as we move forward this weekend, we ask for and appreciate the privacy we need to lay our son to rest. Neither Melissa, myself or anyone from our family will be speaking publicly; we simply cannot at this time.’
