She gave birth to an adorable baby girl on December 18 – and now new mum and fitness star Emily Skye, 32, has checked into a luxurious hotel to adjust to motherhood.
The global fitness sensation – who hails from the Gold Coast – revealed she and newborn daughter Mia Elise are staying at the swanky Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast.
‘We’re out of the hospital now and are staying at the Versace for a couple of days to relax aka feed, change nappies & adapt to no sleep for the next 20 years!’ Emily shared with her 2.2 million followers on Instagram.
In a video shared to social media, Emily showed baby Mia enjoying an enormous bed in the luxury room.
‘Look who’s here. Do you think this bed is big enough for you Mia, are you happy with it?’ Emily said during the clip.
The palatial hotel – which boasts a waterfront setting – claims to be Australia’s ‘premier leisure destination’.
As well as offering ‘extraordinary service and an ambience of pure glamour’, it is home to three award-winning restaurants, a day spa, fitness and wellbeing centre, private marina and Versace boutique
It will no doubt be a welcome Christmas break for first-time mum Emily – who documented her growing baby bump on Instagram.
‘So happy to finally meet my gorgeous girl Mia Elise Redmond born on Dec 18th at 11:53am weighing 7lb 7oz (3.5kg),’ Emily shared to Instagram on Wednesday, tagging her partner Declan Redmond in the post.
