A US woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison after she murdered her 7-year-old stepson and fed his remains to pigs.
Heather Jones, 30, pleaded guilty to the death of Adrian Jones, People reports.
The boy’s father was also charged with first-degree murder, child abuse, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
Police were called the Kanas home following a domestic disturbance dispute in November 2015. While there, they discovered the boy had been missing for several months.
The boy’s remains were found in the barn the following day.
