Tragic new information has emerged surrounding the murder of Taylor Sheats: the 22-year-old was to be married today.
The Daily Mail reports Taylor was supposed to wed Juan Sebastian Lugo in a small ceremony today, having a larger ceremony after she graduated from college.
Lugo’s sister, Maria, posted a tribute online about Taylor and her sister, Madison.
Writing on Facebook Maria Lugo said: ‘Yall were part of our family, and that will never change. The greatest in laws any one could ever have, and the sweetest, most wholesome and caring girls in my life.
‘I look up to yall so much. Y’all were a light in the midst of this crazy world. We will love you two until the end of time.’
Taylor was shot and killed with her sister, Madison, 17, by their mother Christy Sheats on Friday after she gunned them down outside their home in Texas.
According to a press release from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Christy Sheats’s two daughters ran from the house with her husband, Jason. Madison, 17, collapsed and died at the scene, while her sister, Taylor, 22, was airlifted to hospital where she later died from her injuries.
